🚫 Refund Policy
At Bling Dat, we take great pride in our custom creations. Because every item we produce is made-to-order based on your specific designs and instructions, we have a strict refund policy in place.
1. Custom Orders & Setup Fees
- All Custom Sales are Final: Once an order for a custom transfer (Rhinestone, Spangle, or DTF) or an engraved item has been placed and production has begun, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
- Setup Fees: Design and digitizing fees are non-refundable. These fees cover the creative labor and time spent prepping your files.
2. No Refunds for Customer Errors
We do not offer refunds, returns, or reprints for errors beyond our control, including:
- Spelling & Typos: We produce exactly what you provide. Please double-check all text before submitting.
- Low-Quality Artwork: Refunds will not be issued for blurry or pixelated prints resulting from low-resolution (under 300 DPI) or non-transparent files.
- Incorrect Sizing: Please ensure you have measured your garment or item correctly before ordering.
- Application Errors: Bling Dat is not responsible for items damaged during the heat-pressing or application process. We provide recommended settings, but user-controlled variables (pressure, heat accuracy) are the buyer's responsibility.
3. Damages & Defect Exceptions
If there is a genuine manufacturing defect or an error made on our part (e.g., we sent the wrong color or a completely different design):
- You must contact us at blingdat@att.net within 48 hours of receiving your package.
- Please include clear photos of the defect and the packaging.
- If a mistake is verified as our error, we will gladly offer a reprint or a store credit.
4. Shipping Issues
Bling Dat is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or damaged by the carrier (USPS/UPS). Once the package leaves our facility, it is in the hands of the shipping provider. We recommend selecting a shipping method with insurance for high-value custom orders.
5. Cancellations & PayPal Processing Fees
- Customer-Initiated Cancellations (PayPal): If you pay via PayPal and request to cancel an order before production has begun, your refund will be issued minus PayPal’s non-refundable payment processing fees.
- Cancellations Due to Artwork Issues (PayPal): If an order paid via PayPal must be canceled because artwork was not submitted, or because the submitted artwork cannot be used (e.g., low resolution, non-vector, or missing transparency), your refund will be issued minus the non-refundable PayPal transaction fee.
- Why Fees Are Deducted: Please note: PayPal retains its original transaction processing fees even when a refund is issued immediately. Because PayPal does not return these fees to us, they cannot be refunded to the customer under any circumstance. Orders paid through other payment methods without these restrictions will be refunded per standard processing rules. Once production or file setup has started, orders can no longer be canceled (see Section 1).
